More Tax Information Tips

"I know that the Tree Farmer typically has articles that are tax-related. ..I think it is best to direct landowners to the CSFS website where they can check out our program matrix that outlines funding/cost-share opportunities."

Naomi J. Marcus
Assistant Staff Forester
CSFS-Forest Management Div.

"Here is the “Tax Tips” publication that USFS puts out each year.  It is a good place for a landowner to start when looking at income tax deductions and then consult with a tax professional."

Dan Wand
Assistant District Forester
CSFS Durango District

I don’t know if you have put this link on the state TF website, but it is the information page on the Colorado Wildfire Mitigation Cost tax deduction.  There is a link to it on the CSFS website.  It’s a good, concise informational document.

Michael M. Hughes
