Community Meetings

Managing a forest can be physically demanding, time consuming and often dangerous work. It can help to share your experiences with neighbors who also care enough about the environment to engage in this effort.

Colorado Tree Farmers encourage neighbors to meet socially on .occasion, discuss their successes and failures and listen to experts on the current challenges to forest health in their area. These meetings can inspire and re-motivate you to continue what can be a very long term job.

You can find notices of local community meetings in issues of your Tree Farmer Alerts. Also don't hesitate to contact your district office of the Colorado State Forest Service for information on meetings and to get in touch with other neighbors in your area intereated in improving the health of their forest.

Below are links to some PowerPoint presentations recently delivered at community meetings. Most meetings are not recorded however. The goal is to meet face to face and share your experiences.
